Life Is A Dream
Life is a dream - that knows no shade.
Life is a dream - of pain and woe.
A dream from which - we pray to wake.
A dream from which - we wake and go.
Who would sleep - when the new dawn waits?
Who would sleep - when the sweet wind blows?
A dream must end - when the new day comes.
This dream from which - we wake and go.
Not completely true ::P
ReplyDeleteWait. Was that my uncle in that video?
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the old home movies! I have some videos from the 80's that I should post!
ReplyDeleteha. love the combo of the song and the old home video...too cool.
ReplyDeleteSomebody's always snitching on me, so it's coal again this year. Damn!
ReplyDeleteWooT! That video sure took me back to the old days.
ReplyDeletePoppy, perhaps it is and perhaps it's not, heheheee!
ReplyDeleteReffie, it may have been, after all, it's just a video I found on youtube ;)
Otin, I suggest only posting them if you don't mind us laughing with you at them :)
Brian, thanks, I thought so as well when I found it so I thought I'd share. Glad to see you enjoyed it!
Cat Lady, yep, for me as well. This is why I went to the huge expense of buying myself a pair of cross-country ski's, poles and shoes for the whopping huge price of $4.00 :D
Auntie, that song has been playing in my head for so long that I just had to put it up here to release it! :)
You've been THAT naughty? Now how are planning to get on Santa's good list till next Christmas?
ReplyDeleteI'm not completely buying it, though... I guss you are on it already. Cute video!
Yep Minka, I've been that naughty alright! Don't know how I'll ever get back on the "good" list, but I suppose I'll have to try, huh!?! :D
ReplyDeleteI liked the song so much that I used it in class! I found a more modern version, though, then I made a worksheet and we watched the video a few times... the kids liked it, too. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHo Ho Ho!! Merry Christmas!! From me and my buddy Otin
ReplyDeleteMinka, it hadn't occurred to me to use the song as a lesson for in a classroom, but I'm really glad to hear that the kids enjoyed it so much. More importantly it makes me proud that you could take something from my blog and turn it into a lesson. I'm so happy to hear (read) that you all had so much fun with it! :)
ReplyDeleteSanta Claus, why thank you kind sir, and a hearty Merry Christmas to you and your friend Otin.
excuse me. but saying your baaaaaack and then making one post. well thats just... wrong.
ReplyDeleteKeren, thank you, it's nice to meet you as well :)
ReplyDeleteAw Brit, I'm sorry. You're right of course, it is wrong of me, but what do you suggest I do instead? I'll give you an explanation in my next post which, by the way, I'm just about to write! I hope you'll forgive me, please!?!
